Latexo High School Principal
With 27 years of leadership experience in education and business, I am dedicated to fostering student achievement, enhancing operational efficiency, and building a collaborative, mission-driven school culture. I hold a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University and have a proven track record of improving student outcomes, aligning curriculum, and expanding career and technical education opportunities. My leadership philosophy focuses on strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven decision-making to support both students and educators.
Before joining Latexo ISD, I served as a CTE Coordinator at Livingston ISD, where my team successfully increased college, career, and military readiness outcomes and expanded student participation in technical education. My career also includes roles as a principal in correctional education, an agriculture science instructor, and a commercial lender. Committed to community involvement, I am an active member of the Rotary Club and Dunn Chapel Church of Christ.
I am married to Candi, and together we have four children and three grandchildren. My values lie in faith, family, and community. I am excited to serve the students, staff, and families of Latexo ISD.
